next time had better be it: Brzezinski holds "there will be no

Sliding into an academic idiom -- as he is wont to do in
print -- he concludes that the next president must find a way to
restore the nation's great power status by "tangibly relating American
power to the aspirations of politically awakened humanity."
"This country became the leader of the world in 1991," Brzezinski said.
"We had a unique opportunity. That's what my book is about. And we
still have that opportunity. We may have it after 2008. But if we don't

Cheney and Perle are members of his Trilateral group, and Cheney
was a past President of the CFR, where Zbig and Rockefeller are high

think that the "good" side of America, represented by the Democrats and
the Trilateralists, simply outsourced

from the USSR?
Brzezinski,
known for

Union, initiated a campaign supporting mujaheddin in Pakistan
and Afghanistan, which
were run by Pakistani security services with financial support from the

This policy had the explicit aim of promoting
radical Islamist and anti-Communist forces to overthrow the secular communist People's Democratic Party
of Afghanistan government in Afghanistan,

Uncle Sam Really Wants
The main goals of US foreign policy, quoting George
Kennan and others
(note: this is the same Chomsky
who claims that Sept 11 was not an inside job,
despite the fact that he spells out the entire basis of what it was,

The policies
recommended by NSC 68 would require "sacrifice and discipline"
in the United States -- in other words, huge military
expenditures and cutbacks on social services. It would also be
necessary to overcome the "excess of tolerance" that
allows too much domestic dissent.

Rights, period. The idea that Rights come from God and derive from mere
existence and self-ownership as a human being, this is quaint romantic
idealism of the classical liberals who founded America based on Liberty
and Justice for All.

cannot take your rights, they can only violate your
Rights, and they commit treason when they break their own

These policies were, in fact, already
being implemented. In 1949, US espionage in Eastern Europe had been
turned over to a network run by Reinhard Gehlen, who had
headed Nazi military intelligence on the Eastern Front. This
network was one part of the US-Nazi alliance that

Kennan, who headed the State Department planning staff until 1950
Kennan's
office, incidentally, was responsible for the Gehlen network of Nazi

situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our

PPS 23 was, of course, a top-secret
document. To pacify the public, it was necessary to trumpet
the "idealistic slogans" (as is still being done constantly),
but here planners were talking to one another.
Along the same lines, in a briefing for
US ambassadors to Latin American countries in 1950, Kennan observed
that a major concern of US foreign policy must be "the
protection of our [i.e. Latin America's] raw materials." We
must therefore combat a dangerous heresy which, US intelligence
reported, was spreading through Latin America: "the idea that
the government has direct responsibility for the welfare of the people."
(This policy, not
only of eliminating 'welfare payments',
but rejecting the concept of the govt created
by us to protect "general welfare", is being
implemented in America too. The
welfare state is NOT coming to an
end, quite the opposite -- war is corporate welfare -- a free
service of armed robbery and murder supported by taxpayers.
Defense spending and "liberalization" of the
restrictions of military force over civilian affairs, for both external
"threats" and internal "threats" of dissent (policy long preceding
9-11) is ramping up. This IS THE PLAN, not a
side-effect of poor planning in Iraq or dysfunctional agencies on Sept
11 or Katrina.)

dead Afghani civilians, tens of thousands more starved to death,
frozen, maimed and missing arms, legs, eyes, though the countryside is
in utter chaos. CIA-run heroin production which
Taliban stopped, now skyrocketing.
4) 700,000 (approx)
dead Iraqi civilians, with triple or quadruple that number permanently
maimed, terrorized, displaced, dislocated. Robbed of all their
possessions of a middle class lifestyle, or farming lifestyle, or
whatever. Iraq being carved up by GLOBAL oil
interests, with American companies in the lead, not simply to acquire oil for the
US market, but to prevent
other countries from buying oil directly without subservience to the
Washington Consensus, i.e. neo-liberalism,or as Poppy Bush said, "What
we say, goes."
5) 2500+ American
troops dead (which Kissinger called
soldiers stupid animals to be used as cannon fodder for political games),
probably 20,000+ maimed and psychologically damaged (don't

many with permanent injuries, but don't worry, we'll cut veterans
benefits (as in the past) so
taxpayers aren't affected

I have to admit, Brzezinski's plan for EXITING Iraq sounds very
